Pasar Malam

Pasar Malam @ Curtin was quite an interesting experience. Firstly, I didn’t expect to meet so many new people all in one night, its strange to meet your friend’s friend’s friend’s friend. Very long relation, but hey, I’ve met more people than I can remember :P But I do try to remember those that I ‘ve met already.

Since I’m in my 2nd year at uni, I’m supposed to have gone to at least 1 pasar malam before this, but I didn’t make it last year, can’t remember why though. But I definitely made it this year and there are a whole heap of stories to tell. Wasn’t really meant to go this year, but good ol Ange managed to convince me to stay, so I did. Next thing I know, I was meeting Jon, Cynthia and a few of their friends and we were having dinner at Hungry Jack’s because the food at Pasar Malam was just too overpriced and really do not look good, except maybe for a few stores.

Unfortunately, I have not taken many photos, because I was helping Ange’s friend look after a stall, plus I didn’t know anybody around anyway. Thankfully, I met up with Jon, Cynthia, Kian, David, Kee Hwa and Yi Jun and the other girl’s name who I cannot remember (sorry!). Went off galavanting with them to Hungry Jack’s for dinner and here I am now, exhausted and having a sore throat due to God knows what.

Being stressed for all my upcoming assignments really isn’t doing me much good, but hopefully after this stretch everything will fall into place. One thing I am looking forward to is to meet Marcus and maybe Charmaine next week for lunch.

It’s getting late now. My bed is definitely beckoning. When I get up tomorrow, I’ll put the pictures up taken with Jon and Cynthia, AFTER its been photoshopped. Lolz. I had been at uni since 9am, so that would definitely explain the bad eye bags and smudged make up :P
