Friday The 13th

Admitedly I am a bit of a chicken when it comes to watching scary movies, but being really stupid I watched Paris Hilton’s House of Wax last December just for the kick of it. Admitedly there was Chad Micheal Murray there, so it wasn’t as a painful experience as it should have been.

Today, being a Friday the 13th isn’t such a big deal in my opinion.

I’m not a person who believes in all the hype about walking under a ladder, having a black cat cross your path or opening an umbrella indoors. I believe those old wive’s tales were just told to put an end to a few things.

For one, don’t walk under the ladder cause you’ll have bad luck? Bull. Firstly, why would you even want to try to squeeze yourself into such a tiny space between the wall and the ladder? All you’re gonna do by that is accidentally knock down the ladder and the person on it anyway. So it might be a self-fulfilling thing, but hey, would you be so stupid to even try it?

Woke up to 92.9’s Em, Wippa and Ollie’s talk show about how it was Friday the 13th today. I honestly didn’t even realise it was till they mentioned it. Was too caught up in all my assignments and things to do. I’ve got less than 1 week to complete the bulk of everything and I can tell you, I’m shivering in my knickers right now.

Where I wanna be right now is at home in Malaysia with my family. The next 2 years will be quite challenging cause I won’t be going back till I graduate. Suddenly a bout of homesickness kicked in. Sigh.
