Funny how its the little things in life that really matter.
Just over two weeks ago, I decided to cut my hair in a bid to get rid of the old me and bring in the new in regards to growing up and taking full responsibility of myself.
Just with that little hair cut, I’ve gotten all sorts of good comments from friends on Facebook as well as people I see regularly. Funny how its just hair. They say hair is a woman’s crowning glory (quite literally as well) and I got the hair stylist to chop it Victoria Beckham style. Admittedly I wanted more Rihanna style, but I didn’t know if the hair dresser even knew who she was 
(Let’s just keep it as she isn’t my age)
Things have been falling into place recently and I could not be happier. I passed all my exams, I don’t have to sit for anymore exams for this degree, I have the best fieldwork blocks (last 3 blocks which resulted in an 8 month holiday for yours truly), I got such a great self-directed prac, and I’m enjoying work during this Christmas season (I’m thinking of the money more like it :P)
All these little things really add up, seems trivial but they really mean a lot to me.
Anyhow, I’m off to work now, toting spaghetti for lunch for everyone at work (I’m practicing my cooking skills) and my winning lotto ticket. OK, so I won $11.40 but hey its the joy of bringing it in and cashing it that makes me happy 
Admitedly I have been banned from my own site due to some plugins working overzealously for me, but no matter I’m back and back to blogging.
I’m happy as a duck, got results back yesterday and passed everything! The overview for the self-directed project is due today and that’s been taken care of and I’m sitting at home taking pictures of myself and loading them to Facebook. As I promised, I did take some shots of my new haircut. And yes, I love myself that’s why I take pictures of myself in the wideeeeeeee mirror and here we goooooooo!

I told the lady to cut it like Victoria Beckham style but my fringe was not long enough so she didn’t cut it as angular as I wanted it to be. So now all I have to do is wait for my fringe to grow out properly, go to the hairdressers for another cut and it’ll all be nice and angular again
As you can tell, I’m stoked with getting my FutureSex/LoveShow DVD that I had to camwhore with it
Don’t mind the smile, that DVD was well worth the money. 3 hours worth of footage and I’m a happy girl

Well been working heaps lately, the shop has been rather busy over the Christmas period but I get 2 days off this week which is good. I’m in the midst of clearing up my room and going to charity bin some stuff that I have outgrown *sheepish grin*
Lin’s birthday is tomorrow but we’re going to be doing a dinner thing on Friday and I still haven’t gotten her a present yet!! I’ll either get it today or tomorrow after work or possibly get Ange to get it and we go splitzies on it. Speaking of birthdays, mine’s in a month and a half and I have no idea what to do for it. Possibly a dinner somewhere for the people that are around and when everyone comes back just have another dinner or something. Lol.
Oh yea, for those of you who haven’t heard, I’ve got an 8 month break (woohoo!!) and I start my pracs in July. I’ve got 2 weeks worth of classes to attend in May and June and then have to finish the self-directed prac by June or July and I’m off to Charlie’s for 7 weeks, followed by another 7 weeks in Collie (near Bunbury if anyone is asking) and 7 weeks at Edge Employment, which is in Subiaco.
Had yesterday off from work and I’m rested enough to work again for another 2 weeks before getting my next break. Worked 52.5 hours last week, think that’s my record number of hours per week thus far.
Anyways, have to get back to cleaning out the room. Toodles!
