Oz Lotto

Now its no secret that tonight’s lotto is the biggest in Australian history, with $90 million up for grabs.

Well, unfortunately I didn’t win. Otherwise I’d be on the phone straight away and organising plane tickets. I got 3 numbers but still lacked the supp number, which proves that my theory is right. By picking numbers in a single game, you have a bigger chance of winning. My other Slikpik ticket came up with 1 number so that is proof. Twice in a row, impossible to doubt.

Now the question is how to pick the right numbers.

To be honest, I don’t know. I randomly stabbed numbers as well as picked some of my favourite and lucky numbers. I picked some numbers for last year’s Christmas party and I won 3rd prize in the raffle, so I tried my luck again.

If you zoom in, you can actually see the numbers I played. And checked online.

That’s how good my new camera is. Which brings me to say, I now am the proud owner of the Panasonic Lumix FS-15. I’ll do a post reviewing the specs, but I can’t stop raving about it! Its awesome because with its 12.1 megapixels and 5x optical zoom and fantabulous macro function, I can now take pictures like this:

Taken from my room window on the 2nd floor, with max optical zoom to the ground floor. In the original resolution and zooming in, you can actually read the subheadings and almost make out the normal print. How about that from about 10 plus metres away.

Anyway, enough raving about the camera I digress. Perth has been hit with wild weather and driving home from Murdoch area yesterday was a nightmare. Driving on the Kwinana Freeway, I could feel my car swaying from side to side while I was doing something like 70 km/h. I did 100 km/h for a short stretch and traffic was too bad to sustain that kind of speeds and the weather too wild. That day was mad. I walked from the car park to work and the wind was blowing so strongly I swear (politely) that my umbrella nearly broke and I nearly got blown off in the wind. Mind you, my umbrella is the bg kind, not those pocket sized ones. It then poured and I ended up with half the front of my skirt wet and my coat was wet in front.

Stupid rain poured down not vertically but nearly horizontally. I was holding my umbrella to the side to avoid getting blown away and avoid getting drenched in the storm. Suffice to say, I don’t quite like winter and the rain. The upside to all of this is that the dams are getting full, so I’m not complaining.

Enough complaining now. From today on, I’m going to blog almost every day and include at least a picture everyday seeing that I have such an awesome camera. Now I just need to get Photoshop or use Picnik to edit my photos. I just need to do something other than play Sims 3 all night :) Which reminds me, I’m supposed to be doing some research for a gig. That will be tomorrow then, I’m too tired out right now. Haha. So much for proactiveness!
