I bet that caught your attention quick didn’t it? Everybody loves free stuff, what more turning free money into more free money.
The good folks at Nuffnang in conjunction with Coles Group & Myer have decided to reward Nuffnangers with free money. Yes you heard it. Free money. A $10 gift voucher to be exact.
And the are giving its members a chance to turn the $10 gift voucher into $100. I bet you are wondering how do you get to participate in this generous contest. Simple.
Nuffnang relaunched its Australian site lately and can be accessed here. They are trying to expand its members and if you sign up now, you get a welcome pack filled with goodies like this. Easy huh? Bet you didn’t anticipate getting free stuff for joining and by putting ads on your blog, you even get paid. What is there to lose?
Anyway, back to the free money bit. So Nuffnang has issued the 2 challenges.
Challenge 1:
Be the Nuffie that spends $10 in the most creative, interesting or fun way. It is totally up to you what you choose to do with it, you just have to impress the Nuffnang team here with your shopping skills.
Challenge 2:
Most frugal Nuffie award. How far can you stretch $10 and what can you make it do?

Just making a note here so that I actually do write these posts, cause I have found stuff to blog about (finally!) but don’t quite have the time as of yet.
1. Camry vs Aurion
I’ve driven both cars and going to write a post comparing the driveability of both cars.
2. Vlog/Entry for Nuffnang Australia
This one is quite urgent, they’re running a contest now and I’m going to try my luck at this comp. Actually its 2 posts. One will be a vlog and the other will be just an entry
Well, so far these are the next posts coming. I’ve been pretty bogged down with everything lately, I literally work, come home, have dinner, shower, read a book to sleep and then sleep. Repeat all week. I’ve literally lost all my social contact with people apart form cell group and church on the weekends. So I’m not exactly the most social person right now. In fact, I think I’ve kind of grown to like being anti-social. I’m a bit cynical just cause being alone helps sometimes. Talking to clients and interacting with colleagues all day sometimes just leaves me so drained that I just don’t want to talk to anyone. I’ve just used up my social quota for the day.
Its has been a pretty emotional and trying week, but I’m glad I pulled through it all. I’m not exactly feeling my best and haven’t wanted to post in a while. I do keep private entries so I do get my thoughts out sometimes, cause it ain’t fun to have the whole wide world to be reading your inner most thoughts. So if sometimes it seems like I haven’t posted anything here, it just means that I’m either too busy or have been writing private entries.
Well, nearly time to sleep for the day. I’m catching up on sleep during the weekends so there really isn’t much time at all to do much. So nights!
Yes, I do know my blogging is sporadic but that’s the way it’d have to be till end of this month. I think I’ve bitten of more than I can chew so I’m paying the consequences as of now.
Work-wise things are going great. Just dealt with the major paper work that had a deadline to it and then have to now keep up my client visits and make sure I don’t fall behind in notes. I am already a bit behind, but I’ve kept careful notes so it’ll have to wait till next week or so when I’m in the office more. I’ll be busy with a client for the next 5 and a bit weeks so I’ll be kept on my toes quite a bit.
Its Toh Truck’s last week this week before she returns to Singapore. I missed out on the farewell drinks at Minq last Friday cause I was zombified after starting work at 6.45am that day. I didn’t trust myself to drive there and back safely and that I would stay awake and be sociable for the entire duration. So I went home and slept for a good 12 hours.
So, I’ve another early start tomorrow morning and Thursday morning for the Support Meeting. 7am starts. As you can probably already guess, I don’t function too well in the mornings. Hence why I am going to bed now
In case you are wondering if it really has been Kristine Moment #2824, its not. That was just a random number I typed in. If I were superstitious, I’d be wondering what the hell my fingers were doing. But I am not.
Anyways, its been too long since I’ve last blogged. Just been so busy with everything and just recovered from starting work at 6.45am yesterday. I’m not exactly feeling my greatest seeing that I had a massive day yesterday but not to fret, I’m on the mend and getting back into my groove.
Just a couple of weeks ago I was at work on a Friday morning and I got myself the coveted car park underneath the building. I won’t lie to you, but the 6 lots at work are my favourite spots to park my car as I don’t have to walk a million miles in the rain or hail.
So I got to work nice and early and got a spot there, since it was Friday and half the staff weren’t there due to them having their days off. So I did my reverse park and up to the office i went.
About an hour or so after that, I went out to see a client of mine and then came back in again. See, I didn’t think I’d get a spot at my favourite car park but hey, there was a spot. So I happily went parked and went upstairs to get some more paperwork done.
Then at about 11am I had to leave again to bring my OT Student to meet a client of mine. I was in a rush as I had quite a few things on my mind and it was Friday, I was keen for the week to end so that my weekend could begin. I was rummaging in my bag for my sunnnies when I beeped my car open and looked ahead of me and saw a dent in the left front bumper.
Many thoughts ran through my head: “When did I do that? Was it was I was reversing the car cause I forward parked at my client’s work place? Maybe I scrapped it turning out? Oh no! Oh no! How now? Trish isn’t in, die, what am I going to say?”
Mostly it was a lot of “Oh no’s!” running through my head. Then I heard a beep, which meant my car was locking itself cause I didn’t get into it in time. All this while, I was staring at the car and panicking and worrying out loud, my OT Student must think I’m a bit of a ditz.
What I hadn’t realised was I didn’t notice lights blinking when my car beeped. Feeling rather stupid, I clicked my car open again and it was only then did I pay attention to where the sound was coming from.
I was looking at the car to my left, the spot where I had parked in the morning. When I came back from seeing my client, I had parked in another spot to my right. So I checked the number plate on the car that was dented and obviously it wasn’t mine. Not only that, I managed to complete miss the colour of the car. Mine is silver and the car with the dent was goldish silver (I’m sticking by this, there is such a thing as goldish silver).
So it was then I admitted my stupidity to my OT Student and we both had a laugh at the situation. Sometimes I wonder how in the world I’m still employed with my blondeness at times.
