What The Doctor Said

Went to the doctor again this week for the 3rd time in 2 weeks. She prescribed me an inhaler, Senega Ammonia (the vilest form of medicine known to man, but also the cheapest and most effective) and more Sudafed as I was coughing. What I didn’t know was the fact that I was also wheezing which made breathing a whole lot harder as I was coughing while I was trying to get oxygen into my lungs. As soon as I hit cold pockets of air, my coughing fits begin and I need to go to warmer areas so that I don’t wheeze.

She also told me the cough will last for about a month or so. I just needed to get all the phlegm out so that I’m not chesty anymore.

She also said, “I think you had the swine flu” -.-

Thanks for letting me know a week after I had got it. I think I could have also diagnosed myself from the symptoms I was displaying: fever, cough, runny nose, body aches and nausea. Good thing is, now I’m immune to it. Let’s just hope the virus doesn’t mutate and I’m all good :)

Heh! The flu is just about the only thing you can’t get Good Stuff (TM) for. I’m always keen on the “slipped disc” angle (no pun intended).

    Get well soon!

HB: Thanks! I’m almost better but still on antibiotics. Stupid bronchitis :( Well, the stupid Sudafed caused my blocked ear. I’m never going back to the Dr again unless its for MCs
