Good Reads

I’ve been keeping rather busy lately with the bible study I’m doing, the Masterlife thing for cell, the assignment for uni as well as my self-directed project. I’ve recovered a lot since the last time I’ve blogged, then I was wrecked with coughing fits from the dust flying around from t he renovations as well as from being generally sick. I’m just coughing very very minimally now, since they’ve almost finished the renovations at home.

Since I’m effectively working from home, I’ve had more time to read blogs daily. There are just so many blogs out there but there are some I’ve been reading on a long term basis and some that I have just begun reading more often.

On the top of my good reads list is none other than Suet who is now in the USA studying. She is one of the few bloggers that I met in real life before. Her blog is just filled with really nice pictures and of stories on how she manages studying away from home. Definitely one of my entertainment highlights of the day. Haha

Another one for people who are looking for more philosophical takes on life as well as the latest in gadgetry and blogging software review or anything to do with computers, Edrei is the man to go to. Another blogger I met up with in Malaysia way back in 2005 where blogging was still in its early days. His blog tends to make me think about lots of things in life and well a good read for whoever wants to buy an EeePC. He’ll tell you about all the goodness of a UMPC, particularly the Eee.

Someone I recently rediscovered is Kimberly who now has her own PR firm at such a young age. I guess I blog hopped around a bit and found her site and then started to read. I tell you her stories make me crack up so much that it is such a good stress reliever. Its inspiring to read how she started up her PR firm and then is quite successful in it. Half makes me want to do commerce (Don’t worry dad, I’ll finish this degree 1st…Hehe).

There are quite a few famous ones I read quite often, being Kenny Sia and Nicole Tan. The pictures they take and the adventures they have really bring out the tourist bug in me :) Someday I shall go explore the tourist attractions of Perth and let the little kid in me take over and go “ooohhh” and “aahhhh” at museum exhibits and art displays.

Some days I look to those blogs for inspiration, for motivation to go on through the stressful periods in life and strive harder in the things I do.

Some days, I’m just plain procrastinating and want to keep occupied and not look at my work.

Some days, I’m just plain KPC.

I guess that’s what the internet is for :)
